Asimina triloba Sunflower pawpaw is one of the most reliable varieties and produces some of the largest fruit available. The 3–6 inch fruit are packed with protein, vitamins, and minerals, offering a creamy, tropical flavor reminiscent of bananas. They are delicious eaten fresh and versatile enough for recipes ranging from sorbets to smoothies, baked goods, and even craft beer. Pawpaws are among the most rewarding fruit trees to grow, naturally disease- and pest-resistant, and suitable for mixed orchards or backyard gardens. Sunflower ripens late in the season, and like all pawpaws, requires a second variety for cross-pollination and abundant fruiting. Hardy in zones 5–8. 

Pawpaw plants will ship in 5 ½ inch pots starting in late January and will be about 8-10 inches above the graft at time of shipment. Order early for best availability. Available only within the contiguous US.
