Mid-season, Artichoke type. A premium heirloom softneck originating from Sicily. The large, pearly white bulbs produce about 12–18 easy-to-peel cloves. Sicilian is a dependable, high-yielding variety, thriving best in zones 6–10, and adapts well to a wide range of climates. Its bold, spicy bite when fresh mellows to a rich, mild sweetness in cooking, making it perfect for everyday use. Flexible necks are ideal for classic garlic braids, and when properly cured, bulbs store beautifully for 8–12 months.
